Birthday Fun!

Image
Last weekend we traveled to Omaha, NE to celebrate Ariana's birthday. Yes, it was a long and fast trip, but it was well worth it. We got to spend the weekend with my family, Nathan's family and the Pawlitcheks from Mankato. We had a blast. Swimming, pizza, games, presents and family. What more could you ask for? Ariana had a great time as well! :) We ended the weekend on Sunday and got to visit Don White's church in Omaha, and I got a chance to see my cousing Charity who is about to have a baby. Hooray! Yes, family is wonderful and birthdays are wonderul. A good time was had by all. For more pictures visit my facebook site.

Snow, Snow, Snow, Snow!

I'm thinking that Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye needing to be taking a trip to Wyoming instead of Vermont. I also think that it is Becca's fault that we have snow already. She's been in quite the Christmas mood lately and watched my favorite Christmas movie, White Christmas, just the other day. I can't really say that I've been much different though. I bought a baby Christmas stocking the other day. No, I'm not going to have a new baby this Christmas, but it was too cute to pass up, and some Christmas I will have a new baby.  Now on to: NEWS from Wyoming. This will be the new section of my blogs where I'll give updates on the happening around here instead of just my jabberings. For those of you that haven't already heard, Becca is going to have a baby girl. Hurray! Nathan changed jobs. He's not entirely in love with this job, but it has excellent benefits and is sort of juts a means to get to the job he wants to have. And that about wraps it up for the

Still Alive

Yes, it has been quite a while since I've posted anything to my blog. Life doesn't seem to be lending itself to the blogging world right now. A 10 hour work day as opposed to an 8 1/2 hour work day (the difference in travel time) is quite different, and I am still not used to it. By the time Ariana is in bed it's time for me to read a little bit of a good book and head off to bed myself so I can be ready for another 10 hour work day the next day. I love weekends! I will be in Heartland in exactly 2 weeks. I know everyone knows this, I just can't help sharing my excitement with everyone over and over again. I have started going to practices for the worship team here at Restoration and will be starting to help with services soon. This is very exciting to me. I love helping lead worship in the house of God. If you can believe this I haven't even played the piano once this entire summer! Yes, this is a very sad phenomena. I haven't had access to a piano (besides a v

Arrh! So Cute!

Dress up time is so much fun. Ethan wanted to drink some water... like the dog!

An Update

I thought I should write a little update on what's going on here in Casper. I have no grand pictures to post, and I'm having trouble loading any videos on blogger at all, so you'll have to go to my facebook if you want to see those because they will load there.  Nathan and I have been here in Casper for a little over a month. As I mentioned before, I got a job two days after moving here. It was such a blessing. I work for Sage Medical Group. It is a Doctor's office with 5 doctors, so I stay pretty busy. I am a receptionist. I pretty much answer the phone and take messages all day long. I always thought I was the type to love office jobs like being a receptionist, but since having this job I realized how many different things I got to do in my previous "office" job. I fell like I do the exact same thing every single day at this job, but I am enjoying it. I just had my 25th birthday on Friday and my coworkers had a cake for me at work, so that made me feel good.

Family

I love family. And that's all there is to say!

We're Here

We made it to Casper early in the morning Wednesday morning. We're not exactly settled in yet, but that will come in time. Soon I will post pictures of our new home (when I get some new batteries!). We will be living in Becca and Caleb's basement. My parents and sister are here, and that is so wonderful but I don't want them to leave. It really just feels like vacation right now because we haven't started jobs and Becca hasn't had to work since we got here so it's like a normal Wyoming vacation. I think things will really begin to sink in once my parents go home. I know we will be able to make this place our home; we already love the people in the church (Restoration Church) and God is opening many doors for us. One of the most exciting of those doors that God is opening is a job for me. I got a job today! This is very exciting to Nathan and I as I came without a job and we weren't sure when I would get one. I will be working as a receptionist for a large do

Packing

Yes, packing is my life right now, and I have wonderful little fingers to help me! As you can see, we don't get much work done together. There are just so many other fun things to do. It's so much more fun to put yourself in the box! Singing... my favorite pastime. Peek-a-boo! A new accomplishment, I can open AND close the door all by myself!

Itsy Bitsy...Ari!

Life is a little crazy around here. I know, I do it to myself. We are moving in two weeks and one day, so I have been trying to pack (though it doesn't seem too successfully) while still leaving time to be with my family and friends. This weekend I ran the Bible College reunion (which seemed to be a success) then proceeded to oversee a wedding reception. And yes, now I am exhausted. Throughout all the up and downs, excitements and fears I have gone through this week, I have one little thing that brings me the joy of the wonderful life God has given me. That one little thing is my daughter Ariana. She is in such a fun stage right now, saying new words every day, singing songs, loving the outdoors and life in general. It is a wonderful thing to be a part of. Last weekend we went to Nathan's parents' house and Ariana was singing up a storm. I tried to get it on video, but if she notices you with the camera she will stop whatever she is doing and say, "CHEESE!". Very

It Is Finished

Image
I'm finally done with finals. Hooray! Now I can finally clean my house! And I'm not kidding. This semester I have ventured to take 13 semester hours of classes while working a full-time job and running a household. I'm thinking I won't be doing that again in the near future. Starting homework at 9 o'clock at night just wasn't doing it for me. I will continue going to school, just maybe not so many classes.  Now I move on to new things... packing. A month seems like a good amount of time to get your house packed and ready to move, but when you have things to do every weekend from now until moving day the time goes away pretty quickly. Jordan left for Mexico just this morning. He is super excited. I'm excited for him, but last night was sad because I won't see him until September (unless he gets flyer miles on this trip and comes to see me before then!). Well, I'd better be off now. Things to do, places to go, people to see.

Easter at the Farm

Image
The Sunday after Easter the whole family got together at the farm for our annual Easter egg hunt and dinner. A great time was had by all, and some of the pictures are really great. Here they are.

Hello blogworld!

Image
I am not too confident of this whole blogging thing, but I am going to try it. I want everyone to be able to stay updated on our family, and especially the wonderfully cute things that Ariana does. This is a picture from Ariana's first birthday in October. I know it was a while ago, but her little Korean outfit was so beautiful, and I didn't have a blog then, so I have to start somewhere. Becca, Caleb and Ethan just came to visit us earlier this week, and we have some adorable pictures of Ariana and Ethan that I will have up soon. We had Easter at the farm a week late with the whole clan, and there are some great pictures that you will all enjoy.  Well, that's about it for my first blog. I just wanted to get something up and started.
